Jumping to current track

Jumping to current track

Hey there.

Yesterday I installed the new spotify update. In the older versions it was possible to jump to the current track on your playlist by just clicking the album cover in the lower left corner. Is this still possible or has this feature just been removed?

By the way: I don't understand the thoughts behind the new version. Not at all. The design is just broken (some buttons are cut off by the window frames etc.) and some important features seem to be removed. For example, I get why clicking the "X" in windows has been changed to what it's supposed to do (closing), but why on earth would spotify not make this optional in the settings?

There are so many other things that bother me about this new version that I don't want to list here because it makes me even more angry. I am paying a monthly fee to use a decent music software and not to be a beta tester for what feels to be a start up company.

Regards

N

The ability to jump to the current playing track is being looked into. Hopefully that functionality will be brought back in a future update.

Well... I hope so, too. Removing existing features should be done very carefully.

Meanwhile I'm considering to use other another software in the future and cancel my spotify subscription. I just can't trust a company that throws out updates like this and removes several useful features just because... I don't know... they feel like nobody should use them?
