Just reinstalled spotify and time limit reached after about 10 songs played

As the subject line says above, spotify is telling me I have reached my 10 hours already, yet I only just re-installed it on my computer after having not used it for ages. I have not even listened to a whole album yet, only about 10 songs, if that, so why is it doing this?
This is the reason I stopped using it for ages, because no sooner had I opened the stupid thing it was telling me I could not listen to anything.

It's simple, but does logging out and back in help at all?

nope i already tried to do that but it was the same.
I went to the web player  instead and could still listen to music on there, so possible a fault with the application??
