Just upgraded but no Premium on my phone

I just upgraded to Premium using the student discount but it's not showing that I have Premium on my phone. I've tried logging in and out a few times on my phone and no luck. What should I do to fix this?

Hey @beachdude42 -- your Premium account is showing okay at our end, but occasionally it'll take a little while to update things at our end. If you log out and back in with your username now, you should get Premium.

Could I ask a few more questions to clarify your situation? How long ago did you upgrade to Spotify Premium? Does this account overview page say you are a premium member? Does it say you have premium on other devices like a desktop computer?

 

Occasionally, some people acidently get two accounts, one with a spotify username, and another with your facebook name. If that is the case, it may be that you are logging into the wrong one. If you suspect this, you can try and get tech support using the online contact form or via twitter @SpotifyCares.
