Hey Spotify,
I use your premium accounts and they are really good. Love hearing music via mobile.
But how to get this account is not okay: Klarna. I payed this bill for december and booked the premium for january. And now there is the bill for january:
1. They say, they don't get money for december (I will discuss this tomorrow with them via phone).
2. They changed my payment to a hire-purchase WITHOUT any order from me. I don't know why. So they want an additional fee of 1.95€ (for hire-purchase I never want to), and an interest of 0,20€.
3. Thats not all; For a payment for 9,99€ for December (and their saying, that they don't get it), they want an extra fee of 9,95€!!
After that bill I was very angry and searched in the internet persons, who have problems with them. And there are some! There are really amazing many one! Many many many persons have problems with Klarna! Klarna rip-off many people. There are many lawyers who pressed charges against Klarna (I will do it to)! No one should use Klarna!
Why you use Klarna for a payment method? Klarna will rip-off many people in Spotify!

Hello David,
I am sorry to hear that you had problems using our payment service. We always want to make sure that our services are simple, safe and customer friendly. It seems as if Klarna did not receive your payment. The additional fee of 1,95 EUR and the delayment fee is only charged in lack of payment. We would like to investigate, what happened and therefore ask you to contact our customer service at +49911-477 577 10 (Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm) or Kundendienst@klarna.de. I am sure, that we can find your payment with your help and find a solution for this!
Your Klarna Team
Perfect,thanks 🙂

Hello,
i'm using spotify premium, and it's really great. But here is the problem, I choose Klarna, to pay for spotify, but there hasen't come any bill, and now i was getting an e-mail, in which i had to read, that my bills weren't payed.
One simple Question. How should i pay, with no information?
I mean, i don't know, how much, to what bank and so on.
I would appriciate it, if you would be able to send me the bills from January to march, so i'm able to pay and using my account.
Greetings from Germany,
Simon
PS: sry for my english
Hey erbsi, Welcome to the community! 😄
If you are paying through Klarna, you should get in touch with them directly using the contact links in the post above yours, since they are the ones who will be able to look into your account for you.

I do have the same problem - and I notified KLARNA that the additional fees are not lawful.
We have laws in germany which regulate the fee´s which are allowed and also at what stage they are allowed to collect interest rates.
KLARNA is not acting compliant to the german laws. This also falls back to the service of Spotify which I indeed love.
But with a service organization like Klarna, spotify will fail...
I thought KLARNA is a good idea, if spotify recomends and offers them. Never ever again!
An very unhappy customer
You don't have to use Klarna if you don't want to, Spotify have a range of other payment options available 😉
Since their billing systems are seperate to Spotify's any issues with payment or fees need to be handled on their end normally.

Seriously Peter - I would expect Spotify not to use a Debt Collection agency as a payment provider. Klarna basically buy your debt and try trick you into paying extra fees, that Spotify would never dream of doing themselves. Seriusly, paper bills. Karna make their money when you mess up, so do their best to make you mess up, and make it very difficult to get any issues resolved.
You used to have payment by EC Card/Direct Debit. That was the proper way to do it.
