LIving in one country, paying from another,

LIving in one country, paying from another,

Hi

I would like to get spotify premium but i cant because when i try to registrer with my credit card a message tells me i need to change country bc my card is from another country than where i live,

However since im living in spain i cant change my account back to denmark because then i cant use my account.

How do I do this - without having to open a bank account in spain?

Hi,

I would also like to know the anwer to this question as I'm having the same problem.

Thanks -

I have the same problem. Any solutions?

Dear All

This is an issue that Spotify needs to address - it is a disincentive to maintain a subscription. And is a glitch.

I have a Spotify subscripion payed from an Australian credit card. I live oveseas permanently. I sought to include my daughter on the subscription through the family option but was not allowed. The system advised that she was not in the same country. I therefore took a seperate subscription for her.

Since then, my wife wanted to have spotify subscription. Okay then, maybe I could adjust my daughter's subscription to the family option, and add my wife to her subscription. Surely, if couldn't push back on this. Well - yes it did.

The system is based on the country from which the card payment is made - then for adding family members is base on the actual location of the phone.

It would seeem to make eminent sense to match both subscription payment (actual) holder country location with family member location rather than from the location of where the payment is taken.

Come on Spotify -  get your act together.

The family plan should be just that. Families live together in the same location. That is not based on the orgin of the credit card payment.

 Best regards
