Hi,
Years ago, someone asked me to write a song for a movie they're making. They released a soundtrack which was eventually added to Spotify. It's a pro bono contribution and I never expected anything in return.
I don't have a label and have never considered selling/uploading my music anywhere. Lately, however, I've been thinking of using one of the aggregators to upload some more music. My question is, how can I link that one song that's already on spotify to the account I'm making? Or...if my song was uploaded, does that mean there's already an artist account? How can I have access to it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @liz-lemon,
Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community.
Can you send me the link to the soundtrack on Spotify so I can take a look? 🙂
Thanks!
Your name is Frances Feranil, right? If so, that's your artist page: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3WIlxu4KTJoe5KTF1w67gZ
You can manage your artist image, artist pick and featured playlists by requesting access to Spotify for Artists: https://artists.spotify.com/c/access
Your new releases should automatically be published to that artist page, so don't worry about it landing on the wrong artist page 🙂
Great, I'll do that. And yes, that's me.
Thanks so much for the assistance 🙂
