My Question or Issue

I have a spotify account that was set up using my email (a Gmail account).

I'd like to link this existing account to my Facebook account.

My Facebook username isn't the Gmail email.

I couldn't figured out how to link the accounts thus all data will be saved (playlists/ artists etc'), and being able to sign in through Facebook.

I found this topic, regarding the same issue, but I didn't found any "Connect to Facebook" button at all on my "Overview" page of my spotify account.

Thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately, instead of linking the existing account, I opened a second account with my Facebook account.

Now, when I'm trying to connect my 1st account to facebook, it says the Facebook account i tried to connect is already belongs to a spotify account.

What should I do?

I only wants a sole account...

Nothing to worry, just check this out this FAQ to delete your account created with Facebook. Then you can proceed on connection your FB account to Spotify.

Step 3 is missing - "Select I want to close my Spotify account permanently."

I opened my "account" but there is no "I want to close..." in any tab.

Hi Again

I managed to "delete my account" - the new account created through FB

BUT

Now I can't link the existing old account (created throgh an email+pass) to the FB. I got the following error:

What should I do next ??

Glad that you were able to delete it.

Did you have any issues that you put delete my account in apostrophes?

Please give it some time and try again. If it won't work please get back to me 🙂
