So... I had a Facebook Spotify account, and then I went to create a new Spotify because I wanted to be able to disconnect my Facebook account from my Spotify. On my standalone Spotify account, I clicked on "Connect to Facebook" thinking it would merge the two accounts (for whatever reason, I was really tired when I did this). What ended up happening was that it did not merge as I (stupidly) thought, but my new account seemed to kick my old Facebook Spotify account somewhere.
I can't log back in to my old Facebook Spotify, and now I'm stuck with my new standalone Spotify account without any of my followers, songs, or playlists. Friends of mine who followed me before that go to my profile see my name under search, but going to my profile it shows as "user 1276914805's profile". Help?
The support team will need to lend a hand to get you back to that account (or your playlists transferred over if that is what you would prefer - they can't move followers though). If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they should be able to work some magic for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks. What's the turnaround time for them to respond to an email reply? I had already read on the community pages to email them, and had done so previously.

So, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it's going on Wednesday and I sent the email on Thursday...
My case number is 01507119. Thanks!
Hi Grace,
Any updates? Thanks!
Looks like Grace didn't see this @versipelli 😞 I'll escalate your case now and you should hear something soon.
Thanks all for the help,
However, it appears that I can't use "versipelli" as a community name anymore. Also, the issue wasn't completely resolved as none of my followers, playlists, saved songs, etc. from my original Facebook account were restored. I've tried emailing back the person who had initially helped me, but have received no response.
