Linking spotify account with facebook error

I have tried multiple ways of linking my spotify with my facebook, and I mostly get "Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later." I would really like to change my username to my real name so any help would mean a lot.

Hey @energy_v2,

Try using this link.

In there you'll find "Connect my account to Facebook'.

If you still can't do it, try with a different browser, or open a private window (incognito mode), and see if that does it.

Also, try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.)

    I tried on a different browser and it seemed to work first (my profile picture changed and it said "energy_v2 (last name)" as my username, but when I refresh it goes away. Will this part take a bit to update?
