Listening offline

So when my music is downloaded, is suppose to show a green arrow next to it. Lately is not showing me when my music is being downloaded and shows gray arrows next to some of my songs, but i can still listen to them offline. Shouldnt it be green for me to listen to it offline. And why doesnt it show me the downloading symbol to let me know my music is being downloading? Some songs are green and some are gray but i can still listen to them offline. Pretty odd.
