Listening on other device (not me) Chrome & Chromecast

Ever since the iOS update that "improves Chromecast integration", I have noticed that my Spotify account would start playing songs that I don't listen to.

On the phone I would get a message that I am currently listening on either Chrome or Chromecast. I don't use Chrome, nor do I own a Chromecast.

My account is one of those that was created with Facebook, way back then.

I have logged out all devices on Facebook, changed the password, logged out of all devices through the Spotify account management page, removed all authorized devices, removed all integrations (aka "apps"). But the issue is still here.

What do?

Hm, maybe you could try changing the password, that might help.

That's not helpful, did you read my original message? Already changed, did all the steps I could imagine, problem remains hence me reaching out for support.

Sorry, I misread that. Can you try a clean reinstall following these steps: https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/troubleshooting2/reinstallation-of-spotify/?

Let me know if that helps. /J
