Locked out of account.

Hello - I'm trying to log into my account after not using it for quite some time, but I get the following errors:

 

1. If I log in using Facebook - "You do not have a Spotify account connected to your Facebook account. If you have a Spotify account, please log in with your Spotify credentials. If you do not have a Spotify account, sign up."

 

2. If I log in using my e-mail address - "Incorrect username or password."

 

3. If I try to reset my password using my e-mail address - "It looks like you are using your Facebook credentials to log in to Spotify. To change your Facebook password go to your settings page at facebook.com."

 

4. If I try to create/sign up for a new account using my Facebook - "email_already_exists"

 

5. If I try to create/sign up for a new account using my e-mail - "We're sorry, that email is taken."

 

I've run out of options. Is there a way Spotify can delete the account without me signing in or resetting my password for me? I don't want to use a whole other separate e-mail address just for Spotify (although I had to do just that to post this...). If all fails, I guess I can use a premium Google Music account instead.

Sorry to hear this. We suggest that you reach out to SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter, or fill out the Contact Form so that the Support staff can take a closer look for you. Don't worry, we're sure they'll get things back to normal for you soon. 🙂
