Logging account onto another Phone

Does logging my account which I use facebook to log in make me have to sign in on there facebook app to log in or can i just log in with out them having access to my facebook?

We're afraid that if your account was originally opened through Facebook, you'll need to use your Facebook credentials to log in.

If it was created with a username and password, you should be able to see an option to unlink it from Facebook by following these steps here.
