Logging in problem with student discount (NUS)

I have an NUS card and want to sign up to the student discount spotify offers, exactly as I have done for the last few years. Everything goes fine with putting in my card number etc, until I come to the screen which says...

 

Almost there...

For security reasons, you must enter your password to complete the payment.

 

I enter my password, which is definitely correct, select continue, and the page refreshes to exactly the same 'almost there...' page. I have had this continuously over the last week. I have tried on a different laptop, I've logged out and in again, refreshed the page, and I still end up with the same 'almost there...' page.

 

I have now been charged the full amount for the last month because I hadn't registered my student card, but I'm not sure what else I can do with this logging in problem.

 

Has anyone else had this problem with logging in? Is there another way to register your NUS card with spotify?

It seems you haven't properly cancelled your subscription. You need to downgrade to free / cancel your subscription to apply for the student discount.

 

I'd also suggest reaching out to the official support team by using this contact form if you want to request a refund for this month (and if you still struggle with the student discount): https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/.

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.
