Logging in through Facebook

I’m not sure if anyone is ready for this sideshow or can help me. I have an older Spotify account that is now Spotify free bc the CC expired. I created a new account with a different email, made it premium with a gift card, then changed the Facebook primary email to match the new account. Now when I go to log in through Facebook with the new emai/username, it tells me that “It looks like you have previously logged in via Facebook, would you like to continue?”, and when I do it connects to the old account in FB. I even removed the old account’s email from Facebook entirely and it will not connect with new account in Facebook. There has to be a way to fix this. Hopefully this is a clear synopsis of the problem.
