Logging into Spottify on a Samsung TV with Facebook Credentials

I am trying to log into my account on the app that is on my Samsung Smart TV. I set up my account using Facebook Credentials so I clicked on that. It would text me a passcode after an attempted login to use for a password but then when I went to put it in it didn't work. I went into Facebook and turned off two step verification and turned off the passcode generator to see if it would help me login to my TV without extra steps and it still didn't work. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to get logged into my TV?

Follow this to get a device password:

1. Go to Facebook settings.
2. Select Security and Login.
3. Select Use two-factor authentication.
4. Select App Passwords. 
5. Click Generate. 
6. Click Generate App Passwords.
7. If needed, enter your current Facebook password and click Submit.
8. Enter Spotify, and Facebook will automatically generate a password for you.

You can use it, with your Facebook email address as username, to log into Spotify directly on any device.

I had the same problems. I just went to www.Spotify.come/password-reset and it told me my username was some weird series of numbers and letters. I ended up having to reset my password anyway, but I used the crazy username and new password and it worked. Hope this helps.
