Login with Facebook Not Working

I was disconnected from my Spotify across all my devices. I get a login prompt when I access the application. I try to use Continue with Facebook but get the following error:

Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area

I've tried resetting my password so I can disconnect my account from Facebook, but I haven't received a password reset email.

I have logged out and logged back into my Facebook account and tried to log in again, but still receiving the same error.

In order to create this post, I had to create a new account because I'm locked out of my Facebook login.

Any advice?

Hey all,

 

Last night I was finally able to get my account access back. My account was deactivated.

 

I reached out to Spotify customer support chat and was informed my account was suspended due to an unauthorized download made from my account. When I asked for more details about this activity, I was told they couldn't provide more details.

 

I am kind of disappointed I didn't receive any form of communication like an email indicating my account was suspended. It would have made remediating the access issue quicker. I also don't really know why it was suspended in the first place.

When I try to login it will just load and it will say something went wrong

I have the same exact issue. Happened randomly yesterday to all my devices

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

 

We'd first recommend trying to reset your password and look for the reset email in your Spam/Junk folders. If you're not able to locate the message, it's possible that your account has been temporarily disabled and that's why you're not able to log in.

 

You should have received an e-mail from Spotify with more info about that. We'd suggest that you check your inbox for such e-mail.
