Login works on some devices but not others

Login works on some devices but not others

I have premium. I can log in from a deskto using chrome or IE, but I cannot log in on my ipad or iphone. I have also successfully logged in on one other device (a web-connected stereo). The error message says "either username or password is incorrect. Have you signed up for an account?"

Are you sure you are using the correct username and/or password? Another option you might want to consider if the problem still occurs, is linking Spotify to your Facebook account. From there, you can easily login onto Spotify with your Facebook account.

Thanks for your reply. I am definitely using the right credentials - for
example I logged in successfully to post this message. I do not have a
Facebook account. I have wondered if this has something to do with multiple
accounts. I am not actively using them, but I also do not know how the
stereo logs out when it is not being used. But if this were the problem,
wouldn't I get a different error message?

Do you have Premium for Family, or just for a single account? Besides, you might want to re-install the app on your devices, to make sure your 'current session' will be ended.

I have the individual premium account. I did reinstall the iPad app but
that did not help.
