Lost features on new Spotify Premium update

Before the current update, I used to be able to search for my friends and see what they've been listening too. Now there is a "follow" feature, in which I cannot search for a specific person in a practical way (just have to hit the refresh button and hope they pop up in one of nine people). And even after I finally found the person I was looking for, it only allowed me to see what my friend had starred (which was nothing, incidentally). I can only hope that I am lacking the competance to navigate this new version or did Spotify just completely wipe out my ability to find my friends and see what they've been listening to?!

Currently, annoyingly there is no way to view all of your Facebook friends like in the old client.
