Lost in Password Management

I am a French user with a family subscription, and I am using Spotify with my own account on 2 different PC + 1 android device.

My companion is using its account on her PC + 1 android device.

My Question or Issue

I do not want to use any Facebook or other SocialNetwork account.

So, I use an email account that seems to be linked to a ID number,

It seems that I can login with either my email address or my ID

This morning I discovered that an unknown account was member of my family Plan, so I decided to revoke this access.

Then I wanted to change my password, and now I am completely lost:

Where is my main password? What is a machine password? Is it different from the account password? What needs to be changed?

Since an unknown member has joined your Premium for Family plan without consent, I'd recommend checking out this support article for some more info and the next steps to take.

 

Also, you can change your password here. Your Spotify account password is the only password used for Spotify services (the app, website).
