Lost starred songs

Please can somebody help me with the below? I emailed the spotify team but quite frankly the response just isn't good enough. If this issue is not resolved I will be ending my spotify subscription as of next week. The information I was sent back was not even correct as it was not the first time I used the application.

My starred playlist has shrunk to a miserable 185 songs for no reason. It took me years to build up that playlist.

Where has it gone?

I really need it back!

Thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to hear you are having problems.

There have been a large number of reports of tracks being lost from the Starred list.

We are sorry if you have been affected by this bug.

The bug prevents the Spotify application from updating its list of Starred tracks to the Spotify server. When the user logs in the next time, the starred list is empty.

This bug has been affecting users only on their first run of the Spotify application. The cause of this bug has now been tracked down and the next release of the Spotify application will not be affected.

I’m afraid on this occasion there is no way to restore your original list.
