Okay, so I did have a problem with Spotify taking up space on my Blackberry Curve 8520, so I deleted all my pictures off my phone(I was told to get a SD card but I can't afford one right now), it worked but I couldn't sync anything so I pulled the battery and I looked it up and someone said reinstall it. So I deleted it. But when I went onto BB App World it said "App is not available on this device", so I looked that up and people said to reinstall BB App World, I did it, but it still said it. I looked that up and it said to use my browser to install it. I have now reinstalled Spotify to my phone via the browser, but now I still can't sync tracks. So I Googled that too, and it says my phone has to be connected to the same WIFI as my computer.... MAJOR PROBLEM! My computer doesn't use WIFI! It broke so we use a cable, even though my router is on WIFI for my phone. I never had this problem before and the only other working computer we have is our Mac but that is the other place (kinda like a studio) and it's not connected to the internet there anymore. So what do I do? Thanks for reading, and yes I am a premium user.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hard to say, but I'd give it some time and see what happens!
Getting them synced is definitely the hard bit, on my old BB once that was done I had minimal issues.

Hey Olly_R - Exactly how much space do you now have available? What happens when you start the app--are wyou receiving any specific error messages or codes?
Well now, because I haven't been using the app, it says 252.6mb free space. When load the app nothing comes up except now there are no playlists! It's not the first time but still it's a nightmare! Do you think you get help me get it sorted today please? Because I am going camping and was really hoping to have my music available. Please Help!!! thanks.
Can you try refreshing the playlists from the Settings menu? Do your playlists still appear on the desktop client?
252MB of free space really isn't a lot, ~50 tracks maximum I would say (and that is if the BlackBerry OS will let you use all of that space).

I restarted the playlist and nothing happend so I turned my BB off and on again, and I have tried the battery pull. Nothing. Also, Yes the playlists are still on my computer.
Would you be able to try the steps outlined in this post and see if they make any difference?

Hi yes my phone doesn't seem to work the same way as that. I don't have an explore or folders or anything. My blackberry is an 8520 if that helps. By the way, thank you so much for helping me out.
Ah I don't have my BlackBerry anymore to test it on. What version of BlackBerry OS are you using?

hmm. Mine says v5.0.0.1036 (Platform 5.2.0.104). Sorry I don't know much about Blackberry. I'm used to Windows and Apple.
Yeah me too!
You should still be able to view the files for those instructions, just the way you get there might be a little different.
Try the steps here: http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2011/06/blackberry-file-explorer/ (exhausting my bookmarks supply here haha!)

hi again, I managed to do the steps above (it turns out that I coudn't see explore because it was a downloaded theme.) and it didn't work =(. I don't really understand why it's doing this, is it just spotify having problems or what? Thanks again!
It will be the BlackBerry application unfortunately, its always been a bit of a problem child and since BlackBerry OS is now a legacy operating system there won't be anymore updates.
Have you tried just leaving the application running for a while?

It's funny you said that because all the playlists now say loading.... Do you think after that they will sync?
Hard to say, but I'd give it some time and see what happens!
