Merge Facebook and Spotify Accounts Help SAM!

SAM,

I signed in using my facebook account and my email associated with my facebook account got logged in. But I can never log in with my facebook credentials. So I went to log in just without using my facebook my it then gives me an error message saying that, THAT email is already in use.

So then I just used my other email and I logged in perfectly into spotify, BUT I can't link into my facebook account...LOL. So I have made a mess out of all this, can someone help me delete one account or merge them or something?? I would like to keep my user name Kitty 84043 and just have it linked into my facebook.....

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

It sounds like you are being prevented from merging that account because there is already a full Spotify profile tied to your Facebook details. Quickest way to get this sorted is to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to remove the extra account for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
