Merge two different Community (forum) accounts

Hi!

As the title reads I have two Community (forum) accounts, and I want to know if it is possible to merge them into a single one.

About how I ended with two accounts is because some time ago, I requested a username change, so I created a new username and you guys transferred a lot of data from one account into the other. So, in the end I ended having two Spotify accounts and two forum accounts (even if after a couple of days the old Spotify account went "dead", as far as I know).

So, it's possible to merge them into one, or at least migrate the old data from the previous account into this one?

Hey there!

I've honestly never heard of this before. I'm pretty sure Lithium, which powers this website, doesn't allow that.

Now, it is possible to delete a Spotify account and move the playlists over with help from official Spotify support, bascially "merging" the two accounts.

And, yeah, I thought that this probably will be one of those things that "you don't read everyday" 😛

Also, I already asked for the merge between the old and new Spotify accounts (and it was a success), but the ones here (the Community forum) are still both alive.

So, on the other hand, it's possible to cancel the older account in this forum? Or at least stop receiving the emails every time someone comments on the threads that I'm following?

Hmm, you should be able to turn off email notifications in your Preferences / Settings.

I guess that this could be a solution... I'll try to access to the old account and doing that.

EDIT: It seems that I will need to learn to live with such notifications as I can't access to the old account anymore (and no, I didn't commit mistakes with the credentials).

Anyway, thanks for the help.
