Merging two Spotify accounts

I have a premium Spotify account that is separate from my Facebook, but now I want to connect them, and it turns out that I already had an old, free account that I created with my Facebook and forgot about. Since I created it with Facebook, I can't disconnect it and connect the one I use now. Is there a way to either merge the two accounts or delete the old one?

All you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support and their Accounts team can take a look backstage. The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. They usually respond within 48 hours!
