Missed payment - credit score

Dear Spotify

I was emailed I had a missed payment on my account this morning. I'm.not sure why as the funds are there? My concern is this miss payment affects my credit score?

As soon as I received the email from Spotify I actioned the steps to get premium active again

Just to add, I gather it was purely to update my card details? Surely we should be given some notice. I've not missed any payments and I really hope this doesn't dent my credit score.

Is Spotify a 12 monthly thing? I assumed it kept taking my money until I said otherwise
