Mobile app started premium trial without asking

Solved!

Mobile app started premium trial without asking

Seeing the ad in Spotify that radio was now available for free on Android in the US, I clicked on it and was led to install the official Spotify app on my Android phone.  So when I ran the app and logged in to it, I was surprised to see it tell me that my 30-day Premium trial has started.  I never asked it to do this, but when I looked at Spotify on my laptop, it confirmed that "You are now using Spotify Premium".

Since I don't have much use for the 30-day trial now but would like to start it at a later date, would it be possible for Spotify to reset my account and re-enable the option to start the 30-day Premium trial at another time?  I haven't listened to any music through Spotify since it started the trial, so I'm not just trying to get some ad-free music without paying.

Of course, if it's not possible to remove the Premium without giving back the free trial, then please leave it there, but otherwise I'd like to be able to start the Premium free trial whenever I choose to rather than the mobile app choosing for me.

Thanks!  I looked for the official support link before, but couldn't find one.  I've sent my problem to Spotify support now, so hopefully it can be fixed.
