I proceeded to get the student discount and my card was charged immediately with no school verification. I understand that the upgrade is not available because the verification is not complete but Spotify needs to figure out a way to not charge that $4.99 + tax until school verification is complete. I would like my money back just as quick as they took it off my card. This is unacceptable. No school verification, no premium upgrade... Sounds like a refund to me!
There was no kind of confirmation email or anything but I did take a snapshot of the charge. This kind of makes me nervous to proceed upgraded services if this company is just taking money without everything being completed.
