Moved countries (UK to CANADA) - updating payment with canadian details

Hi,

I've moved from UK to Canada and want to update premium account with new canadian bank details. 

I have followed trying to update my location profile account settings and then updating my payment details but it eventually it just that I'm in a country that doesn't have spotify. 

Please can someone help!

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? After updating your payment information i would try to do a soft reboot or a reinstall of the application.

Thank for the suggestion. Gave it a go and it's not working. Do you have any other tips?

The payment option also comes up are Euros not Canadian Dollars..

In this case, you'll have to cancel and wait until your account reverts back to the Free ad-based version to upgrade with the updated details. You can find the steps on how to cancel here.

I live in a Spotify country. Can I buy a premium subscription and gift it to a friend who lives in a non Spotify country ?

I guess the question just a payment problem or is it not possible to access Spotify in a non Spotify country ?

Does this mean that if I am travelling I can access Spotify in certain countries ?

Sorry for the late reply. First of all, keep in mind that the country registered to your account must be the same as where the gift card was purchased. So, if you wish to buy a gift card to a friend who lives in a different country (especially one Spotify isn't available in yet), won't work. You can read more about this here.

However, on your other questions, if you are a Premium subscriber and travel abroad, you can listen to music with no restrictions and have access to your offline songs. Think of it as being back home; you can listen and download yet be in a different country. You can read more about it here.
