Moved country, problem with account

I haven't used Spotify in over 5 years. At the time when I signed up I was living in the UK. Now I am back in the US and want to use Spotify again. Spotify still thinks I am in the UK and it won't let me change the settings under my profile. Very frustrating! It keeps saying my email is already in use. Plus I can't seem to listen to anything. Any suggestions?

If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you need to change it in Facebook.
Also, your payment method (if you were Premium before) must match your country too, so delete any payment info you might have in your account before trying to change the country in profile.
