I’m interested in the Spotify Duo account for me and my partner, however neither of us wants to lose our listening history, playlists, etc. Can two accounts be merged for this plan? How does it work? Thank you!

Hey @Kaitlyn982, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
You can get started with Premium Duo here.
You both can use your existing account to join or start the Premium Duo plan, keeping your own saved music and playlists. Other members of the plan also use their own accounts, so you don’t need to share login details.
There is some more information on how the plan works and how to get started here.
If you have any specific questions, just let me know. I hope this helps!

Hi.
I have a specific question about billing.
I had a Prémium account, paid from my Bill.
Recently I accepted an invitation for Duo account, my partner will pay it.
I can see that all my saved music, playlists, etc remained the same.
But what happens to my older Premium's billing? Will it be automatically cancelled this way? As I switched to duo
Thank you
Hey @Mmochahontas,
Thanks for your reply in this thread 🙂
When you accept an invitation to join a Duo or Family plan, you automatically agree to opt out of the plan and the remaining Premium time left on your account.
That being said, the plan you had would be canceled by the system and you won’t receive any more charges in the future. The payments would be charged to the owner account of the plan. You can always check the details of your plan in your account page here.
Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
