My Question or Issue

I would like to know how to mute an artist. I have read it is now possible but I can’t find it either on my phone or Windows Apps.

I came into that problem too mate. So there is that , you can mute the artists or songs on your daily mixes i see. Not the spotifty made playlist's or via search. If you don't know how to mute artist on Daily mixes ; go to daily mix , press play, on pc left end corner you see a heart and the other icon like an O with a stripe , press it and than press i dont like this artist. It is same on the phone to but place is different, it is on right of the skip forward button . I hope it helps
