My Question or Issue


My account has completely changed. All of my playlists have disapeared and were replaced with two playlists that I did not create. Prior to this shift, my music would sometimes turn off while playing and switch to songs I didn't request or tap. My downloaded music added songs I've never even heard of, much less downloaded, and it almost feels like I was hacked. There is nothing familiar about my account anymore.

I’m sorry to hear you think someone else has gained access to your Spotify account. Please check out the FAQ page ”Someone else has gained access to my account” here for the next steps to take. Please sign out everywhere as well, follow the steps from the first attached image.


To recover your playlists just go to your Account and follow the steps from the second attached image.
