My Account has become someone elses?

My Account has become someone elses?

Logged in this morning through FB (which is unusual as it's usally logged in anyway) and see a message something like "you've synced to too many devices". Didn't pay it much attention. I look now and all of my playlists are gone, all of my songs are gone, albums, artists etc. In their place are a bunch of artists I've not listened to, same for songs.

I go to my account page and the email address down for the account is for someone else that I've never heard of.

It's like overnight my account has been switched with someone elses. Really weird. Also not cool. Suggestions?

Cheers

It could be that someone hacked your account or found out your username and password information.

Are you able to change your password and email address?

I also suggest you contact support so they can help you.

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

If you currently cannot login or change your email, use this contact form so you can specify an email address to send the reply to:

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-anonymous/

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

You can also tweet to @SpotifyCares on Twitter for help.
