My Spotify switches music by itself

wth this hs persisted MONTHS now. As soon as I play music the app switches to “listen on the web” and then a TOTALLY strange Music that I would NEVER listen to comes on. Like my account is hacked or something. As a result my music history is completely **bleep**ed up and I essentially cannot use the discover feature anymore at all which was my FAVORITE function of the app. Pleas help!! I don’t want to switch to Apple Music but if this continues might have to
