My Stolen Email Used To Register Premium

After months of Spam email from spotify, the latest got my attention: I would be charged monthly unless I cancelled. Trouble is, I've never registered or used Spotify until after asking a password reset sent to my email. There's a credit card attached to this account that I *KNOW* isn't mine because I've never applied for one! How do I remove the card associated with my email account and why the BLEEP does Spotify fail to engage email verification?! Not Secure.
