My account is treated as a new account - all music is missing. please help

Hello,

Something funky is ha[ppening to my account. I log in and it treates me as a new user, even though I have been using Spotify for months. Is there any way to restore all my music?

Otherwise I'd have to go back to Grooveshark 😞

My playlist is just gone and I don't know how to get them back please help

I have the same issue!

At starting spotify it Prompted me to Type in my FB-Password again. 
Then the "Welcome to Spotify"-screen appeared, and only clicking "New User" worked, because i always logged in with Facebook only.
Now everything is gone, Playlists as well as Starred music 😞
Please Please Please help me!!

thanks joe for thrying to help but no. From your link it redirects me again on "Yorba 84" the old one. And there are no delted playlists there is nothing. Where is my real account "Salvo Cutaia" again?

@smu - Would you be able to get in touch with support here and someone will be able to help you out with that. If you get an automated email reply, just reply directly to it.

@jwylot No I can't since it got deleted by itself or more like they just dissapeared.

Then it sounds like you have used the wrong credentials when logging in and created a new account. Try logging out then back in, using whichever is crrect - your spotify username or your facebook login. If it still doesn't work, use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly (even though it says not to) to speed things along.

Neither of  them has my playlists even though I didn't make that other account.

All my playlists disappeared as well. I disconnected facebook from my spotify account and when I reconnected all my playlist are gone now. 

 

Please help...you my only hope otherwise I'll have to switch to Itunes radio

I can't login to spotify. When I open the application I login with the device username number 12102593946. Then the application opens then it asks if i am new to spotify or have an account. I click have an account and then I put the same login info and it doesn't work. I didnt have this issue until I updated spotify. I am afraid all my playlists are gone that I had for my wedding next month. please help!

Hi argentinaguy85 - That account was created through your Facebook but it looks like your FB profile has been removed or disconnected.

 

If you fill out our contact form the team can help you set up a new account.

thanks peter but no news yet. the Moderator Meredith says that I should have a private message from the team in my inbox but there's nothing. I haven't received any actual help yet.

Are you sure you haven't got an email reply? It will have been sent to the email address shown on your online profile

Be sure to double check your spam/junk folders. 

 

If not, post back here and we can escalate this further for you.
