My accounts seems to be not up-to-date even tho my app is

Hi there, I just wanted to make a quick post here to show an issue that I noticed days ago. 

It's been a long time since I have had issues with the Spotify app, I missed some features like canvas and lyrics (I somehow got the lyrics back but I'm still missing the Canvas feature), and sometimes the app didn't even looked updated.

So, a few days ago I noticed a new music player design and no surprise, my app doesn't look like that... so I run a little test and created a new account on the exact same device on the same app, and guess what, all that I'm missing it's right there!!

So yeah, It's kinda sad at this point that my account it's stuck and it's missing features, but yeah, just wanted to let you know to see if somebody else has the same issue, I'll leave some image's for proof (I think u can guess which one is my main account).

Sorry for the bad quality, and btw I can only add 3 images but I was going to add other where the Canvas feature doesn't show up in my main account.

Hi there @mau_monares,

 

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

 

Canvas and Lyrics are still in testing so that's why you might see them for a brief time on your account and they might disappear at some point. 

 

Regarding the New Mobile look, it's still rolling out to all users, so you might get in on your main account soon. 

 

This process is totally automated and there is no way to manually enforce it on certain accounts. What we'd recommend is trying to Log out Everywhere and log back in to sync your account with the servers.

hi everyone, i got this problem too. but logouts won't work

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

 

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you have someone with this features on their account log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persists?

 

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

the "Clean reinstall" and "someone else with this features" doesn't work.

but if i log-in with a alternate Account All the features work 😕

Thank you for your swift reply and sharing that information.

 

What is happening with the UI is precisely what @Alex mentioned before. Changes made to the app take time and some of them can't be instantaneously rolled out to all accounts.

 

And regarding the other issue, we suggest you contact Customer Support who can look deeper into your account. Here is the link.
