My first music is part of a compilation. Help!

I need your help! 🙂

I'm one of three composers for a video game. The game producers are releasing the soundtrack on Spotify soon, and they want to list each of us individually for our respective tracks. However, I currently have no music on Spotify, so do I need to create an artist page/profile first (*before* they release the soundtrack) in order for them to list me as an artist? Or will their soundtrack release have the effect of creating my artist page that I can then claim once the music is up? I want to make sure we're doing everything in the correct order. Thanks!
