I'm recently releasing an album called "How Beautiful - Summer Soul (feat. TAEK) through DistroKid and came across an issue. My featuring artist name is TAEK (all caps) but DistroKid uploaded it as Taek. I tried to re-upload the album with all caps in DistroKid but it still isn't changing. When I try to make it TAEK, it automatically changes to Taek so I had no other choice. It is going to release on 30th March and the song is already submitted to spotify yesterday. Can you fix it before it's released? I urgently need it to be fixed as soon as possible! Hope it could be fixed in Spotify. Thanks!
I'm afraid that there is no way to change it once it is being sent... although, since Spotify's information is updated from the metadata issued by your netlabels, you'll need to contact them to make any updates to your artist profile's name. If you need any more questions answered this might help.
Hey @user-removed,
Spotify can’t change your song or album titles, album art, or artist name manually.
Spotify receives your music, album art, and track info via metadata delivered to them by DistroKid.
