My own music in spotify catalogue

I know that Spotify licenses music, but do they ever take music for free from people and list it in their catalogue?  I have some music I would like to submit to Spotify for free.  Is that possible?

If you are an artist and would like to get your music on Spotify, then I would suggest you have a read at the artist pages.

Otherwise, if you are talking about tracks that you have downloaded, then there is no way to submit them to Spotify due to copyright and licensing restrictions.
