My playlist subscribers disappeared

Hi!
Some days ago I started using the Spotify app (in Spotify) Tunigo. I noticed that I got some emails telling me that people have subscribed to my playlist that I posted on Tunigo. When I check my playlist there is no one that is subscribing. I have checked so that the people that added my playlist have not unsubbed, they are subscribing. I tried adding my playllist on a friends Spotify account but the problem still remains. I also noticed that my other playlist did not update as well and today I can't see any subscribers on any of my playlist but when I check my friends account they are still subscribing. I tried reinstalling, log out but nothing works.
This annoys me as f**k.

I hope that there is a solution to this problem.

Yep, same thing here... I'm on windows 7, Version 0.8.3.222. Subscribers don't show up at all on this instance of spotify, on my other machines the number hasn't been updated in about two weeks despite getting e-mails that people are subscribing.

Does clean re-install help at all?

It's also crashing a lot more than it ever used to and I'm getting the sound cut out, Even though my connection is fine. Wish I hadn't updated as the last build was fine and I don't notice any improvements, just a load of bugs.

agree. so same issues here. subscribers keep disappearing now and again, and the sound is not working properly. and some other stuff.

Clean install doesn't appear to work. The subscriber numbers aren't updating for my other computers, the specs i listed above refer to an first time installation on a brand new windows 7 laptop (subscriber totals don't show up at all).

updating to say, i can see the subscribers to my playlists from my computer, but the numbers have not moved since i updated 2 weeks ago.  and they were moving every day before the update.  if another user looks at my playlists from their computer, there are no subscribers for any of my playlists.  this is my profile if you want to look at it.

Hi,

I keep getting emails from Spotify several times each day saying "xxx subscribed to one of your playlists" - however the number of subscribers displayed on my public profile hasn't changed in a long time. Would be interesting to see how many who's actually following the playlist 🙂

Got the same issue...I hope it will be solved soon, I really love that people can subscribe to playlists, in that way I can find new music via the subscribers as they probably got similar music taste.

Same!  No updates to the subscriber list for weeks now, even though I've gotten many emails saying new people have subscribed.

Unfortunately, after the last update, I too have lost the ability to see subscribers to my playlists.  Are you getting close to resolving this issue?

I have the same problem. But I see a different amount of subscribers for the same playlists on each of my devices (2x android, 2x Windows 7). It looks like they are stuck on the amount they were when I last logged in on that specific device BEFORE the problem started.

My playlists stop counting for over a month. After talking to support they found out that i had an extra account on my e-mail. The problem seemed to vanish. But the subscribers i had over that 1 month didnt come up. Then all of a sudden i lost subscribers on some playlists, i didnt get e-mails about subscribers even though i had over 100 over two days. So when they fix this problem make sure they do it so that the real amount of subs comes up. Hope this gets fixed and i dont want to loose subs, they have to fix it so the real amount shows up.

it's interesting to me that Spotify is in some ways built around playlists, yet seem to not concentrate on making sure they are functioning to their potential.  The seach function for playlists needs improving badly, you are losing plenty of user enjoyment there.  And now to release an update w/o checking out how the playlists have responded is frustrating.  Maybe it's just a small percentage of users having this problem?  Hoping for the best.

I have the same problem too. Just tried to re-install spotify, but then all of my subscribers dissapeared..

My subscriber count has updated for playlists I've created in the past few weeks, shall keep an eye on it. Still keeps crashing and cutting out mid track....
