My premium account in Serbia / Croatia / Bosnia / other country without Spotify

Solved!

My premium account in Serbia / Croatia / Bosnia / other country without Spotify

I live in Brazil and I have a premium account. Due to business reasons, in the next few years, I will be travelling often to Serbia / Bosnia / Croatia and I will be staying there for extensive periods (few months in a row). From what I know, the spotify is not yet available there. I will continue having my bank account in Brazil (from where the payment will be done), as well my permanent residence. I am aware that I can download music, but I would like to know if I will be able to listen to other playlists (i.e. stream music which is not downloaded) over there? Apparently (from what I could find out from other conversation threads), it seems that it would work for the first 2 weeks, but after that, Spotify would consider that I´m permanently there and would change automatically the settings and I would loose access. Please confirm.

Hi.

The two weeks restriction is for Spotify Free accounts. As long as you don't try to change country or payment method you can use your Spotify Premium.

Hi Erik,

First of all, thank you for such a prompt answer.

So, just to confirm: if I have premium account registered and paid in Brazil, I can stream music even for playlists which are not downloaded?

As long as you continue to pay for your Premium using a payment method registered in a country where Spotify is available then yes.

Be sure not to do anything that may make your subscription to become Spotify Free. Then you might run into trouble.
