My profile name suddenly changed to my alternate Facebook name.

Recently, I noticed that Spotify is suddenly using my alternate Facebook profile name which is in another language. Is there a way to switch it back to the original English name again?

I had the same thing happen to me, but I preffered my facebook name so I had just kept it, so maybe trying reversing it? Like disconnecting your facebook from your spotify. If this doesn't maybe try changing your langauge in settings?.

I have encountered this problem, too. From what I've gathered, Spotify will display your name only through Facebook and if you disconnect the two accounts, you cannot set it in any way. I hope they add this option because everyone is confused about my name suddenly changing!

I heard that disconnecting Facebook gives you the names in numbers which you cannot set back as mentioned in the thread. Original language is already in English so I'm thinking its Spotify taking the alternate name. Still can't set it back to the original name.
