My spotify account is skipping tracks part way through

I have spotify premium installed on multiple devices. Today, on all devices, it is skipping tracks before they complete.

When playing on my phone it was skipping. I paused it, and 10 seconds later it unpaused. I paused it again, and a few seconds later it unpaused.

I have searched for a solution but can't find anything. I have tried:
Forcing all devices to log off, in case one device is interfering with the others.
Played on my phone in offline mode

Switched to different speakers on my pc

Shut down the desktop and restarted it

Closed and reopened the app on all devices.

It is annoying as **bleep**!

Can you give us some more info about this issue?

• Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event? 
• Can you let us know what device/operating system and Spotify version you're currently using?

• Does this happen with specific playlists or albums?

• Have you seen any suspicious activity on your account besides the song skipping randomly?
