NUS discount outside UK

Hi peeps, I got my NUS student card today and got it delivered to Ireland as an Open University student. Im just wondering now if I can still get the discount having an Irish spotify account or is this limited only to UK accounts? Would appreciate any help 😉

Truffel23 - It's limited to UK accounts, I'm afraid. You'll also need a British payment card/PayPal account to pay for it.

Well thats a pity then, I guess I will need to stick to my DEEZER subscription!

I also am an OU student in Ireland who has just recieved my NUS card. It seems odd that the NUS recognise us as UK students (studying through the Open Univsersity UK), but that Spotify doesn't.

I have been a premium subscriber but have decided to terminate this subscription as a result.

Perhaps Spotify might see the light and grant us the same discounts as our fellow NUS card carrying OU students?

It is probably a good idea to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and ask them nicely, since they are the ones who would have the power to do such a thing if allowed 😉 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
