In my spotify account only the combination of numbers is displayed as username and no profile picture although there is an active connection to my Facebook account. Separating the accounts on Facebook as well as on Spotify and finally reconnecting the accounts didn't help.
Do you have any idea why?

thanks for posting !

I'd suggest following these steps :

- Please visit your account overview at Spotify.com

- Scroll down and tap the "Privacy" section of the left menu

- Click on the "Process My Facebook Data" to turn it on

- If this tab is already on, untap it and click it back on
