Need Help! My dad can't log in.

Hello!

So i'm trying to help out my not so techincally gifted dad over the phone, as he can't log in to spotify anymore.

According to him his password hasn't worked for a week (or he forgot it), and password reset does NOT work. He's been trying every day with multiple fresh reset links, but they all show up as "link expired" or something like that. I also tried with a new reset link a few hours ago, and I can confirm the issue. 

He is extremely addicted to spotify, and while usually a calm dude, he does not get along with computer issues... I guess all children are IT experts in their parents eyes, but I need some actual expertice on this one. Please help me out. 

It's a norwegian spotify premium account if that makes any difference.

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have he tried to use another browser or clearing his browser cache/cookies for reseting his password?

I know this might work, but is there any other (easier to understand) solution? I know this might sound weird, but telling him the only solution is to delete cookies from his computer might do more harm than good. 

Using a different browser though, can he just install a new browser, log in to his email from there and access the reset link?
