My Question or Issue

I have a premium family plan and want to set up a separate username account for my grandkids.  However, every time I send an invite (I've tried sending it to my primary email account and my work email) it just logs me in under my primary account and says I already have an account.  My grandkids are constantly bumping me off spotify and I want them to have a completely separate username/account they can log in under so that we can all listen at the same time.  It seems like this should be simple, but I haven't been able to figure it out.  How do I set up a username/account for my grandkids?

Hey @gnGracie ,

Thanks for reaching out.

Kids accounts can be created by the manager of a Premium Family plan. Each Kids account takes up 1 slot in the plan (out of a maximum of 6).

The first time you open Spotify Kids, you’re prompted to create a Kids account.

You can create more Kids accounts in the Spotify Kids app at any time following these steps:

  1. Tap the avatar in the top-left.
  2. Tap Grown-ups .
  3. Enter your Spotify Kids app PIN.
  4. Tap Add a Kids account under KIDS ACCOUNTS.

You can choose if you want them to hear audio for younger or older kids, and can change these settings at any time.

If you don't have the Spotify Kids app yet, you can find a download link here.

Hope this helps!
