Hi there.

 

If you've reached your limit for offine devices with Spotify, or are having trouble getting a new device registered, simply go here, log in and remove the device(s) you want to.

 

Important: Doing this will result in your offline data being removed across all your offline devices. You will need to sync again.

When syncing offline content, always be beware of possible data charges.

Yeah, please reset my devices. I didn't realise there was a limit until I hit it.

 

I've kudoed http://community.spotify.com/t5/ideas/v2/ideapage/blog-id/ideaexchange/article-id/3297 too - I would much prefer to do this on my own.

Not sure if this is available to everyone yet, but it was noticed this morning you can now remove your own devices from your online account:

I think i need mine doing not all the songs in my playlist syncs to my phone only like 150/280 goes on and I have it set as offline

According to this list I have only three devices that run offline, but you also can not really see what these devices are. I still keep getting the message that I use more than 3 devices?!

You can only have 3, so only 3 will be shown there. If you try and sync a 4th, you will get that error still. How many devices are you using?

Hi again, I use three (Android) devices, all are in offline mode. To update or To synchronize only , they are not in offline mode..

I have reset my offline devices numerous times and still am unable to sync my local files!!! Is there a helpline I can call as that would be very much easier as this is getting really frustrating. The local files appear in grey and a message comes up asking me to sync the file but I can't. My phone and laptop are connected to the same wifi and the problem has persisted for a year and it has reached the point where I now am considering cancelling my account. Please help if you can!!!

@yinka - Can you see your phone under "Devices" on the left hand side of the desktop client? If not, that will be why your local files won't sync. Make sure uPnP is enabled on your internet router and all firewalls are completely disabled on your computer.

Hi peter, no I can't see my device on my devices, i have disable firewall but how do I go about making sure upnp is enabled on my router?
